Point guard Charlie Moore, from Morgan Park in Chicago, has committed to Cal.
Moore, ranked No. 65 overall and as the No. 17 point guard by Scout, had been a Memphis commit but reopened his recruitment when coach Josh Pastner left for Georgia Tech.

“I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and I feel it’s where i can succeed and so [will] the team,” Moore told Scout.
Moore had considered Georgia Tech as well as SMU and LSU.
Wednesday is the last day of the late signing period but players can sign financial aid agreements rather than binding letters of intent after the period ends.
