Just two weeks after five-star quarterback Tate Martell decommitted from Texas A&M, the Aggies received a pledge Friday from Pearland (Texas) quarterback Connor Blumrick.
“Their facilities are awesome. Coach (Noel) Mazzone (Texas A&M Offensive Coordinator) seems like a great guy to be around. Their whole staff seems like a great staff to be around. It’s a good place to be.
“I would like to stay in Texas so my family can see me play,” Blumrick told Scout.com. “I’ve always dreamed about playing quarterback for one of the big programs in Texas.”

Blumrick, a three-star prospect according to Scout, landed an offer just three days prior to his commitment.
At 6-foot-6, 203 pounds, Blumrick has the size to be a solid college quarterback. He chose the Aggies over Ole Miss, Memphis, and others. Below are his highlights from his junior year at Pearland.
