A teen was shot at the McLain High School football field in Tulsa, Okla., police said, according to multiple reports.

Police said the teen was in stable condition at a nearby hospital after the bullet grazed his left temple, the Tulsa World reported.

Police said they don’t believe the injury to be life-threatening.

“He’s conscious. He got a little bit woozy, but he’s in stable condition,” Police Cpl. Naresh Persaud told the World.

The shooting occurred after an argument between the victim and a group of other teen boys inside the stadium that was verbal until the shot was fired. What caused the argument is unclear, police said.

The shooter has been arrested and three others were being held for questioning.

Police evacuated the stadium when shots were heard, although it was a chaotic scene as fans began to run and a number of people were injured.

The game was stopped with Sequoyah leading 26-6 with a few minutes remaining.

Meanwhile, in Louisiana the conclusion of Friday night’s 49-11 Scotlandville victory against McKinley was punctuated by gunfire. Mike Gegenheimer, a freelance reporter for the New Orleans Advocate, reported on the incident from the scene, noting that the shots fired precipitated a mass exodus to cars and that there were no reported injuries, despite a flurry of shots following the game:

No suspects have been detained in connection with the shooting, per Gegenheimer, though a weapon was identified, which could eventually help identity those responsible for the incident. There were no reported injuries.

Both teams immediately went to their buses.
