Greg Rogers, ranked as the No. 6 defensive tackle in the Class of 2017 by the 247Sports Composite, committed to UCLA on Monday, using a famous scene from “Goodfellas.”

The video was posted by Bleacher Report.

Rogers, an Under Armour All-American from Arbor View (Las Vegas), chose the Bruins from among 24 reported offers, including Oklahoma, Colorado, USC and Arizona.

Rogers, who is 6-3, 305 pounds, becomes the 10th commitment for Jim Mora and the Bruins.

Blair Angulo from partner Scout.com breaks down Rogers’ decision this way: “This is a really good addition for the Bruins at a position of need. It’s a great year out West in the defensive tackle department and Rogers is unquestionably one of the best given his upside. Though he is just scratching the surface of his potential as a pass-rusher, Rogers has enough versatility in his skill set that he should have an opportunity to see the field early in his college career. Rogers has the frame to be bigger and stronger, which really helps him hold his ground against guards and centers on the interior, and he could certainly develop into an all-conference type down the road.”
