TCU commit Shawn Robinson made a triumphant debut for DeSoto (Texas), leading the No. 14 Eagles to a 47-13 victory against Dallas Jesuit.
Robinson, a transfer from Denton Guyer, threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more before coming out in the third quarter.
He was hot from the start.
Robinson finished with 281 passing yards on 11 for 18 and 100 rushing yards on seven carries.
DeSoto took a 14-3 lead into halftime but scored three times in the third quarter on a 34-yard pass to Emmett Perry, a 74-yard run by Robinson and a 24-yard pass to KD Nixon. Nixon finished with 123 yards on four catches.
Courtney Douglas, who came in to replace Robinson with the score 34-6, ran for 126 yards total, most coming on a late 87-yard run.
The defense held Jesuit to 4.6 yards per play and 326 total yards.
Next up for DeSoto (1-0) is a much-anticipated game in which Robinson will face his former team, Denton Guyer.
