The Foster twins — quarterback Isaac and tailback Isaiah – combined for 286 yards and five touchdowns Friday night as Chattooga (Summerville, Ga.) continued its surprising run in the Georgia Class AA second round.

Before last week, the school had never won a playoff game in the 55 years of the program. Now it’s won twice in eight days.

The Fosters combined for 235 rushing yards in the first half and Chattooga scored on all four of its first-half possessions to take a 28-7 lead on the way to a 38-7 win at Washington County (Sandersville), according to the Augusta Chronicle.

Isaac Foster scored two of his three TDs in the opening half with runs of 11 and 76 yards, respectively, on the first two drives. Isaiah then scored on runs of 9 and 6 yards, respectively, on the last two drives.

The twins accounted for more than 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns in the regular season.

“We knew this was a hostile environment coming in and it’s a great accomplishment,” Isaac Foster told the Augusta Chronicle. “We knew they had speed and needed to stop them at the line of scrimmage. Our offense was rolling tonight and our line was tremendous.”

Chattooga, the lowest seed among the eight 2A quarterfinalists, faces Hapeville Charter next week.

Here is a highlight from Isaiah Foster from earlier this season, an 82-yard touchdown run.
