Bremond (Texas) has a 43-game winning streak that is among the longest active runs in the nation.

Among the notable facts about the streak is that Roshauud Paul has been the quarterback for all of them.

After Friday night’s 48-13 victory against Overton, Paul is now 43-0 as a starter. That eclipses the 42-0 mark set by Kyler Murray at Allen (Texas). Murray was named the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Offensive Player of the Year and Gatorade National Male Athlete of the Year after his senior year at Allen in 2014-2015.

In the win against Overton, Paul ran for 399 yards on 22 carries and had six touchdowns. He was 3-for-4 passing for 42 yards.

Paul is a Texas A&M commit who is expected to play wide receiver at the next level, but is hoping to end his high school career with another state title.

Bremond (12-0) advances to meet Maud in the 2A Division 2 quarterfinals next week. If Bremond goes all the way to a state title, Paul would finish 47-0.
