Four of the longest 11-man high school football winning streaks in the nation ended in Week 1 of the season but many are still going strong through the playoffs.

Here are the longest active runs, led by Kimberly (Wis..), which won another state title Friday. Mission Viejo, which had won 39 in a row, had its streak stopped Friday night by Rancho Cucamonga.

  3. Soldotna (Alaska) — 50 (season complete)
  4. Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, Pa.) — 45
  5. Bremond (Texas) — 44
  6. Pella (Iowa) — 41 (season complete)
  7. Neville (Monroe, La.) — 38
